10 Crafts To Keep Kids Busy on Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving coming up so quickly and plans for cooking and entertaining on the top of everyone's list, we sometimes forget the little ones.  Keeping them busy on the big day will really help get that turkey on the table.  We've put together a great list of crafts that will keep them busy and even help with the decorating.

Thankful spinning plate.  This is a great craft that can keep the kids busy and can be shared during or after dinner.  A great conversation piece and keepsake. 

 

Thanksgiving Banner.  Get the kids to make this cute thankful banner using supplies from your pantry, hang it near the table so they can feel proud of their hard work.

Fall Mason Jar Candle Holder.  This craft is really fun as the kids need to go outside and gather up some gorgeous fall leaves, then glue them to mason jars. Once finished, decorate your table with their handy work.

 

Kids Table Mat.  This is great to personalize a kids place setting and they'll have fun preparing their own mat.

 

Thankful Tree.  The kids can take charge in making sure everyone fills out the leaves and then they can add it to the tree.  Great conversation starter after dinner, reading all the leaves.

 

 

Rock Place Settings.  This is a fun craft and keepsake.

Thanksgiving Centerpiece.  Send them outside to gather supplies to start his awesome centerpiece.

Thankful Polaroid Book.  These are usually used for weddings but are great for any gathering including Thanksgiving.  Put the kids in charge of taking photos, gluing them in a scrapbook and passing around for guests to write what they are thankful for.
