Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is almost here and we have some last minute tips to help you pull off an amazing celebration! If you're hosting family for a few days, you may want to plan some extra activities to make the most of your time together. We've collected a few last minute tips to help you host a memorable weekend that you, your family and friends will all enjoy!
Outdoor Movie Nights are an awesome fall activity, great for children and adults! Choose a seasonal, classic film or get everyone together to watch something new! Add in blankets, popcorn, warm apple cider and a bonfire, and you can have a cozy movie night that your guest will love.
Farm - to - Table Dinner Party! Challenge your guest to bring something seasonal, fresh and delicious and create a hearty fall dinner! Assign each guest a type of dish; main course, side item, salad or dessert, and come together to create a delicious meal that everyone will enjoy!
Games and Crafts bring people together! Depending on what your guests will enjoy most, hosting a game or craft night is the perfect idea for a fall get together! If you and your friends enjoy getting creative, collect all the pieces to put together a fall themed craft, add some light bites and drinks and this will surely be a night of laughter and fun! If you choose to host a game night, make sure you have supplies to play a few different games so your guests can choose and you can present a few options!
Crafting with kids! If you're a parent looking to entertain children during the season, there are also tons of games and craft ideas that can work for them!
We love these craft ideas because they are simple to set up with minimal items needed, while still allowing kids to be creative and have a little fall fun! Build your own scarecrow is a great activity for the kids table on Thanksgiving, or a fun fall activity! All you need are some crayons, scissors and glue and the kids can do their thing and get creative with this fun project. The leaf hair craft is a fun way to get the kids outside for a bit while they collect leaves for their project. Finally, the beaded pumpkin project is a time consuming project that will be fun and occupy children for a little while!
Host Friendsgiving! Friendsgiving is such a fun way to celebrate Thanksgiving with close friends during the holiday season! Since Friendsgiving is usually a more relaxed spin on Thanksgiving, you can choose the way you want it to go! You can stick with traditional food items and allow everyone to bring a dish, or try a new spin on an older recipe! You can even throw in a dessert charcuterie board to keep the options open!

Football Party! Fall is also the season for hosting friends to watch the big fall football games! It's the perfect reason to get together on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and enjoy the fall weather! If you're hosting a football watch party, it's always fun to stick with the theme for food and decor!
Adding in some easy grab and go snacks with a football twist is a fun and interesting way to feed your guests and bring the sports theme throughout your day! Dips, light bites, and sweet treats are always a great go-to option when it comes to feeding a group of people.
Designing the Kids Table! Thanksgiving usually includes lots of children running around, and with a full day of cooking, it can be difficult to keep them busy! If you're hosting Thanksgiving at your house this year, we've rounded up a few ideas for the kids table to help keep them occupied before, during and after dinner!
Set up colored pencils and workbook style placemats to let them color, draw, and use their creativity. During dinner, having stamps and pre-cut paper shapes is another great activity that kids can do on their own and will keep them occupied! After dinner would be the perfect time to bring out paint and some pumpkins and let them paint while the adults clean up and clear things out for dessert.

No matter how you host or celebrate, Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time to gather and be thankful for all of the time you get to spend with friends and family!
